The historical capital of Poland, Krakow is one of Europe’s finest Medieval cities. The city itself survived NAZI occupation in WorldWar 2 but the scars of war are evident through its impact on humanity as can be seen at Auschwitz-Birkenau camp. A 3rd UNESCO World Heritage can also to be visited at Wieliczka Salt Mines, in itself an excellent school excursion.
